No Impact Man

I just picked up this documentary tonight after work called No Impact Man. I haven't heard about it anywhere and ended up stumbling on it. In a nutshell, a man named Colin Beavan and his family (wife and daughter) are doing a one year experiment to go without everything that an average person uses/abuses... for example: electricity, harmful transportation methods, non-locally grown foods, paper (even toilet paper), plastics and so on. He's not an environmentalist, an activist, or crazy "hippie" type that some people would categorize him as; he's simply trying to raise awareness to the types of damage our communities are involved in. He and his wife (and daughter) were definitely brave to go back to basics, which definitely had me wondering about all of the things that I need. Definitely food for thought. A good documentary.
