As I was leaving work tonight, I stopped just at the right moment, looked up and saw a shooting star! It was probably the coolest spontaneous thing that's happened to me in a long time... so amazing. It was even better because I didn't expect it... It's going to be super incredible when my friends and I go to Joshua Tree for the annual meteor shower, but this one was sweet. After that marvelous encounter, my friends and I did round 2 of ice blocking... yep... it happened. Even later, even crazier, and even more people. It's getting to a point where people are making up their own terms of ice blocking variations (i.e. double blocking, tripple blocking, debacle blocking...etc.) I feel like with this trend, it's just going to grow and grow and get more epic every time. Next goal: "tarping" (the term I've come up with for slip n' sliding down a pretty steep hill like the ones we've been going down for ice blocking) on a massive tarp covered in water and soap. It's comin'. It was nice to do something after work with my friends instead of... nothing.
Highlights of my night:

[I feel like this is what it would have looked like if I was ready for it, and I lived in the quiet country side]
[First attempt... almost]
[Second attempt... Success!]
Just a bunch of big kids havin' a good time.
