Orange Trees & Cable Cars- Last post of 2010!

So far, my last day of the year has been pretty nice. I woke up this morning bright and early on my day off and met with my friend to grab some breakfast at a place called Omelette Inn... it was pretty delicious. After breakfast we stopped at a nearby farmers market and browsed around. With no luck we just left but that's okay I should be pinching my pennies anyway. I got a call from a school I've been looking at that's up north, so that's pretty exciting when I get the call back (again). And I just stepped outside to my backyard and noticed that our orange tree is comin' along quite nicely! The last time I had fresh squeezed orange juice was the last time I knew what real orange juice tasted like. It was the best and it's been long overdue. I'll give it a month more and they'll be falling off like crazy!

[Here it is!]

So the rest of my day was pretty mellow. I wasn't able to finish everything I was planning to get done but that's okay, nothing I can't just finish tomorrow. My aunt and uncle came down for the new year, and their two daughters. I decided since they're a lot younger that I'd take them out to see a movie tonight since nobody would be home. Sure, it was new years, and there were a lot of people celebrating since they woke up, but the countdown is usually the most exciting part anyway. So we watched Little Fockers around 8pm. I was expecting a bit more, but they loved it (of course). As long as they enjoyed it. After the movie I dropped them off and headed to downtown to meet up with my friend Tiffany. Picked her up and left to her friend's party for the countdown. Good times. I brought along two of the brews from my christmas present (Cable Car & Sierra Nevada), and the one I already had in my bag (Fat TIre). I told myself I was going to keep the two bottles from the present, but I couldn't keep track unfortunately. It was nice to celebrate with a lot of great people and great vibes, and great tasting beers. After that ended, we headed to another house a few blocks away for an ultimate dance party. It was pretty ultimate, everyone was having a good ol' time. Not a bad way to kick off the new year.

New Year's Resolution?? Hmm... I'll have to think about that. All I know is that whenever I declare something for the new year, I either forget or break it =\. Maybe I shouldn't have any expectations or set myself up for that. I kiiiiind of remember last year's resolution; I made it in the car with one of my best friends... and what do you know? It didn't happen! I'll keep it to myself since it was kind of a secret New Years Resolution. Anywho... Yes.

I hope this year is even better than the last... I feel like it is getting progressively better and eventful as I get older. It's nice.
